Story

I've been really lucky to work in some inspiring places. My design practice covers interactive installations, branding and online projects for museums, galleries and corporations worldwide. I'm inspired by the cross-over between interaction and visual design. With the arrival of engaging tools to create new ways to interact, it feels like designers can express and connect ideas in so many ways now. I recently worked on number of mobile and installation projects, there was a real sense that the foundations of stunning design and interaction were all coming to these devices. It's an incredibly exciting time for designers. It feels like anything is possible.

I find inspiration by working on self initiated projects, exhibitions and meeting new people to collaborate with. I often find that ideas come to me at unexpected times, when I'm cycling, late at night or taking a walk to the studio, so I'll always shift my focus and environment to stay open to new influences and keep fresh. You never know what's round the corner...

Story

I apply solid thinking and rationale to everything I design, I find this ends up with a varied and creative output which holds long term value. I approach design in the same way whether designing for an international museum or an independent music label - for me its all about the idea. I find inspiration everywhere but mainly by talking to people who are passionate about what they are doing. I have been lucky enough to work on many large scale projects in London and New York.

Some key projects I have worked on have included the brand development of 'Rapha Racing' a premium online cycle clothing brand and leading the design of the soon to launch Metropolitan Museum New York website. I'm experienced in designing for a broad selection of creative disciplines including brand identity and development, digital and interactive design and print design.

I'm currently working on the redesign of the website and digital positioning of the British Film Institute which is taking shape nicely.
